A classically trained pianist originally from Newfoundland, Amy King is a Music Producer and Recording Engineer who spent over two decades as the in-house engineer at the legendary Grant Avenue Studio in Hamilton, Ontario.  Amy has worked thousands of sessions – many with some of Canada’s most iconic recording artists; cultivating a highly respected reputation.

Aside from every day recording sessions, Amy has been very active in bringing awareness to the importance of music in the community, offering gratis studio time to associations such as “An Instrument for Every Child”, “Hamilton Out of the Cold”, multiple school programs, as well as providing gratis recording to complete fund-raising albums in support of "Gracenotes Debbie Clause Recording Bursary", "Hamilton Neighbour to Neighbour", and a project in support of "The Syrian Newcomers Fund".

Amy is known for her uncompromising standard and collaborative work ethic. Her approach allows artists to sound their best quickly, maximizing their creative focus while maintaining a comfortable, no-pressure environment.
